Centennial Hills is one of the fastest growing areas in the Las Vegas valley. It includes neighborhoods with a variety of home types and prices. Centennial Hills Community
Centennial Hills has homes of all types. First time home buyers will find a nice selection. Homes include condos, townhomes and single family homes. Buyers find homes here are more reasonably priced than in nearby Summerlin. They may be able to get a larger, newer home for the cost of a smaller older one in the neighboring master plan.
You'll find several popular neighborhoods. Silverstone and Painted Desert are golf course communities. Providence is a small master planned community with tree lined streets and three parks. Providence is on the Western edge of Centennial Hills, next to the Mountains. The developers designed Providence to create the feeling of being in a small town. It is possible to find homes that are not in homeowner's associations in this area.
Centennial Hills real estate is conveniently located with easy access to the 215 Beltway and I-95. It is only 20 minutes to the Strip and 20-30 minutes to McCarran Airport.
Luxury Homes For Sale in Centennial Hills
This area isn't known for the exclusive communities we find in Summerlin and Henderson. That doesn't mean we don't find luxury homes here. Luxury homes in this area are on freestanding parcels of land or in small enclaves. You may find your luxury home on 2 acres with its own security gate in this area. It isn't unusual to find a gated community with only 4, 8 or a dozen homes. Luxury home buyers who prefer not having an HOA and want larger parcels of land are attracted to this area.
Toll Brothers, William Lyons, Pinnacle Homes and Pulte are building new homes in Centennial Hills. They're now offering semi-custom homes for moderately priced luxury. Many of the homes they're building are on half acre lots. We find custom homes on half acre or more in this area. Many of the luxury homes offer RV parking and the space for horses.
Centennial Hills is just North of Summerlin which is known for its shopping, restaurants and three Casinos. Many residents of Centennial Hills drive ten minutes to Summerlin for shopping and restaurants. As the area's population grows, we're seeing new options in Centennial Hills. Current centers include Kohls, Petsmart, Target, Wallmart, Home Depot, Lowes and more. Several car dealers are located in the area. Gyms include 24 Hour Fitness. Centennial Hills Library is the largest in Clark County, with 10000 sf of space. Next to the Library is a YWCA with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The Centennial Hills Park is adjacent to the Library and Y. The park has walking paths, athletic fields, picnic and play areas. An amphitheater is used for community events.
Centennial Hills residents enjoy the proximity to the outdoor lifestyle. At the Northwest edge of the desert, many residents go off-roading in the desert. Floyd Lamb Park offers equestrian trails, picnic areas and you can go fishing. The ski slopes at Mt. Charleston are just 30 minutes away.
Golf courses in the area include Painted Desert, Durango Hills and Silverstone Ranch. The Paiute Indian reservation is 5 minutes North on the 95 Fwy. Paiute offers three world class PGA caliber courses in a picturesque setting.
